In response to questions from the media, the RA Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan gave the following comment:
"Following the results of the meeting between the Armenian Prime Minister and the Azerbaijani President, both sides published official, if you noticed, identical press releases. In addition, if there had been an agreement on a peace treaty, the public would have been informed about it.
Regarding the unblocking of regional communications, we request that you base your actions on today's official publication by the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, in which the RA's position was reaffirmed once again. There can be no agreement different from this.
At the same time, we urge you to refrain from quoting irrelevant terms used in the Azerbaijani press. We also note that the Armenian public is familiar with the ideas of the RA Government regarding the implementation of the Peace Agenda, and all the positions expressed in Abu Dhabi fit into these strategies, including the issue of unblocking regional communications, the ideas of the Republic of Armenia about which are expressed in the "Crossroads of Peace" project.
We also consider it necessary to record that the Republic of Armenia also considers the meeting held in Abu Dhabi to be successful, and we confirm that it can serve as a serious basis for the further implementation of the peace process."
