Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, commenting on the Prime Minister’s possible visit to Turkey in the coming days, stated that the government is reporting this information. “I cannot say anything. When the visit is confirmed, the government will announce it.”
He added that the Deputy Foreign Minister’s visit to Turkey is within the framework of the Armenia-Turkey normalization. “Not only am I communicating with the Turkish special representative, but also the Foreign Ministry. There are contacts at the level of various ministers, and the heads of state also have telephone conversations,” he noted.
Referring to the agreement to open the border for citizens of third countries, he noted that Armenia has done everything to make this happen. “The rest is in Turkey’s hands.”
