When military operations occur in a neighboring country, this in itself is a threat to regional stability, and different scenarios may arise from it. In a conversation with journalists, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan said that the Government is ready for various scenarios.
To the question: why is the Security Council not being convened? Rubinyan replied:
“And what do you know that they are not being convened? The Government has different formats for convening a Security Council meeting. They can be public, they can be non-public. If the content of the question is: does the Government assess the risks arising from the given situation or has different scenarios, I would say that it does,” Rubinyan said.
