On June 10, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The meeting occurred within the 3rd UN Conference on Ocean Affairs in Nice framework.
The interlocutors discussed cooperation issues between Armenia and the IAEA, including ongoing work on the safe use of nuclear energy and the practical implementation of opportunities provided by developing atomic science and technologies.
The priorities of the Armenian government in nuclear energy and cooperation with international partners were discussed.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Rafael Grossi exchanged views on regional developments.
