"Unfortunately, I have not received a comprehensive answer." Mirzoyan (VIDEO)

According to Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, during the negotiations with Baku, they asked whether they were convinced that the Armenian constitution was an obstacle to the signing of a peace treaty or were stalling for time by raising this argument.

“Unfortunately, neither I nor my other colleagues, the Prime Minister, have received an exhaustive answer from the Azerbaijani side that I can tell you.”

According to Mirzoyan, they presented arguments to the Azerbaijani side that the constitution is not a problem and also proposed solutions.

“The meaning of our meetings and the main conversation recently, especially after the agreement on the text, has been going on in this spirit and style. But this is the process; there is no tangible result that I can tell you. The only optimistic thing is that the conversation is not closed but ongoing. I would express cautious optimism that there are realistic chances of entering a successful final stage shortly.”
