Security Council Secretary Receives US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

On May 29, Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Joshua Huck.

The Secretary of the National Security Council welcomed the Deputy Assistant Secretary’s visit to Armenia and highlighted the multifaceted development of bilateral relations. The Deputy Secretary, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the readiness of the American side to support the further development of bilateral relations. In the context of the above, the parties exchanged views on the RA-US bilateral agenda, within the framework of which A. Grigoryan also highlighted the continuity of joint efforts to develop strategic partnerships.

The meeting also touched upon the regional security situation. The Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia presented the latest developments in normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and emphasized the importance of signing a peace treaty.
