On May 29, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Joshua Huck.
The interlocutors discussed issues on the strategic partnership agenda between Armenia and the United States. They exchanged views on the development of cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest, as recorded in the partnership charter, aimed at ensuring concrete results and strengthening the Republic of Armenia's resilience. They also discussed the upcoming programs.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Joshua Huck noted with satisfaction the active mutual visits, including the participation of official and expert circles from the United States in the 2nd International Forum "Yerevan Dialogue."
The RA Foreign Minister and the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State discussed regional security issues. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that there is a real opportunity to establish peace in the South Caucasus. On this path, signing the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan will become a historic milestone.
At the meeting, they exchanged views on the ongoing efforts to implement the peace agenda.
