Armenia strengthens its sovereignty and reduces vulnerability by demarcating the border with Azerbaijan.
According to "Armenpress," Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan said this in a conversation with journalists in Aparan.
"By demarcating the border, we strengthen our sovereignty and reduce vulnerability. The border demarcation process will continue from the corner of the Georgian border to the corner of the Iranian border. I hope that the regulations will be implemented. I do not think any dangers will arise," said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
Mher Grigoryan also added that signing a peace treaty and territorial demarcation are parallel processes, and one is not a basis for implementing the other.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the date of the next meeting of the commissions on demarcation of the state border and border security between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not yet known.
