On May 27, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Qatari State Minister Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Khulayfi.
The interlocutors discussed the work aimed at expanding the Armenia-Qatar political dialogue. They emphasized the readiness to continue the active dynamics formed through high-level mutual visits and to develop cooperation in specific sectoral directions.
The RA Foreign Minister and the Qatari State Minister discussed the possibilities of encouraging investments. At the meeting, thoughts were exchanged on security issues in the South Caucasus and the Middle East, and the situation in Gaza was touched upon.
Minister Mirzoyan presented the efforts being made to achieve peace in the region, in particular, the signing of a treaty on peace and the establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
