Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Jean-Noël Barrot, the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The Prime Minister welcomed the French Foreign Minister's visit to Armenia and noted that relations between the two countries are at a high level. According to Nikol Pashinyan, bilateral cooperation in various fields is essential for deepening and strengthening. The Head of State also noted this during his recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Tirana.
Jean-Noël Barrot emphasized France's unwavering support for Armenia's development and capacity-building. The French Foreign Minister noted that his country is ready to deepen relations with Armenia further, including in the political and economic spheres. At the same time, Jean-Noël Barrot congratulated the Prime Minister of Armenia on hosting the European Political Community Summit in Armenia next year.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to infrastructure development, attracting investments, and implementing new joint programs. Thoughts exchanged views on regional processes, including the latest developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement. Prime Minister Pashinyan again emphasized the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda.
