"There is no 'Western Azerbaijan' on the territory of the Republic of Armenia." Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
In response to a question from Armenpress, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Ani Badalyan, referred to the so-called "Western Azerbaijan" false statement once again made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Question: During one of yesterday's events, the Azerbaijani President delivered a message in which the "Western Azerbaijan" statement was again emphasized. How do you respond?
Answer: "There is no "Western Azerbaijan" on the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Western Azerbaijan is the western region of the Republic of Azerbaijan."
It should be noted that the Armenian side has repeatedly responded to this statement by Azerbaijan, emphasizing that such statements by the Azerbaijani side are viewed as territorial claims against the Republic of Armenia.
