On May 21, Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Secretary of the National Security Council welcomed the Minister's visit to Armenia and highlighted the increased bilateral visits, contributing to the continuous development and strengthening of friendly relations between Armenia and Iran. The Minister, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and confidently noted that bilateral relations tend to develop.
During the meeting, Minister Nasirzadeh reaffirmed Iran's support for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia and the independence of the region's countries, expressing his opposition to any change in the internationally recognized borders.
