Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Ambassador Vasilis Maragos, Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia.
During the meeting, the work carried out by the Government to address the needs of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed in detail. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the support provided by the European Union in addressing humanitarian needs.
Referring to the necessary steps to address longer-term needs, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of continuing close cooperation with international partners and non-governmental organizations, particularly for developing and implementing effective mechanisms for livelihood stabilization and employment programs. In this context, the current bilateral cooperation framework and its expansion possibilities were discussed in detail.
