On May 12, 2025, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received the newly appointed People's Republic of China Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, Li Xinwei.
The meeting discussed steps and upcoming programs to expand the bilateral partnership between Armenia and China. "Armenia and China are currently at a stage of significant development of relations, both in terms of high-level political dialogue and cooperation in economic and other areas. I attach great importance to the maximum realization of existing opportunities," Minister Mirzoyan emphasized.
Issues of cooperation on various international platforms were discussed.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on international and regional developments. Both sides emphasized the importance of developing mutually beneficial partnerships in the current period of uncertainty and opportunities.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Li Xinwei discussed issues related to the development of a regional communications network, in which the interest in the Armenian government's "Crossroads of Peace" program was noted.
