"You have to go and talk to the countries you have problems with." Alen Simonyan (VIDEO)

"You need to go to those countries and talk to those countries with which you have problems. With countries with good friendly relations, everything is clear: you are already friends with them, and these issues can be resolved easily with a phone call," said NA Speaker Alen Simonyan.

"Many accusations are coming from the Russian Federation against the Armenian authorities at the highest level. But we are preparing for the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Russia and the visit of the head of the Federation Council. Why are they coming to Armenia?" he said.

He noted that there are problems, and politicians should strive to solve them. "Being offended and making demarches also has its place, but you cannot do anything drastic at the country level, and you must also pursue your interests."

Simonyan did not rule out that the Prime Minister may not leave for Moscow on May 9 to participate in the Victory Parade. "It is a bit wrong for me to say that the Prime Minister may decide not to go at the last minute or to go. I don't know; maybe he'll get sick with COVID-19, or maybe everyone will get sick with COVID-19. You see, many countries' leaders got sick and are not going, for example, the leader of India."

He believed that Armenia should have participated in that meeting since Armenia also played a role in the victory in 1945. According to Simonyan, these visits also provide an opportunity to meet with international partners.
