The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has provided details from the trilateral meeting of deputy ministers.

On April 17, 2025, a trilateral meeting between the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Georgia at the level of deputy foreign ministers was held in Tbilisi at the initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Bochorishvili, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov.

At the start of the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, and Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov welcomed the first trilateral meeting of the three South Caucasian countries and emphasized that the three countries have unrealized potential for cooperation based on respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The meeting aimed to promote trilateral cooperation in areas of common interest, contributing to sustainable development and prosperity in the region. Cooperation in these areas can help address common challenges and, ultimately, contribute to establishing long-term stability and rapid growth in the South Caucasus. During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged ideas and visions on possible areas of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors highlighted the positive and constructive atmosphere of the meeting, which is a preliminary stage aimed at building trust and continuing the dialogue at a higher level.
