The Security Council of the Republic of Armenia reports that on April 15, Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan met with European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius during his working visit to Brussels.
The interlocutors discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the defense and military industry sector. A. Grigoryan presented the work carried out by the Armenian government to develop the defense and the army industry and sectoral priorities. In turn, A. Kubilius presented the EU priorities in the defense and military industry sector and the action plan arising from the strategic concepts developed within their framework.
The Security Council Secretary expressed satisfaction with the assistance provided to the Republic of Armenia through the European Instrument for Peace, emphasizing its importance in increasing Armenia's resilience.
