Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the inclusiveness of regional programs

On April 11, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Emil Hurezeanu. The meeting took place within the framework of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

The interlocutors discussed the work aimed at expanding cooperation between Armenia and Romania, which is facilitated by the active dynamics of political dialogue and high-level mutual visits.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Emil Hurezeanu noted with satisfaction the achievements recorded in the deepening of the Armenia-EU Partnership. They exchanged views on the steps taken towards establishing a new, more ambitious Armenia-EU agenda and prospects.

Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of the inclusiveness of regional programs, as they can contribute to economic development in the South Caucasus and promote the expansion of the region’s and the broader neighborhood’s interconnectedness, consequently strengthening stability. In this context, the issues of unblocking regional channels, the RA Government’s “Crossroads of Peace” program, and the importance of it becoming part of a broader logistical network were also discussed.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Romania touched upon cooperation issues in multilateral formats.
