Thoughts were exchanged on issues of regional importance

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a delegation led by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Thanh Man, who is on an official visit to Armenia.

The Prime Minister welcomed Tran Thanh Man’s visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of developing friendly relations with Vietnam. Nikol Pashinyan noted that high-level reciprocal visits between the two countries testify to the mutual interest in further deepening and expanding bilateral ties, which is a positive and welcome process.

Tran Thanh Man, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, emphasizing that the visit to Armenia aims to strengthen and deepen the Armenia-Vietnam friendship further.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for developing bilateral multi-sectoral cooperation, highlighting the need to develop specific measures and steps to activate economic relations.

The interlocutors also particularly emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in the inter-parliamentary format, which can serve as an additional impetus for developing bilateral ties.

Nikol Pashinyan and Chan Than Man also exchanged views on several issues of regional importance.
