Sargis Khandanyan, a member of the RA NA “Civil Contract” faction and chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, wrote in his microblog X:
“My Azerbaijani counterpart has publicly rejected my proposal for a meeting to exchange views on the draft peace agreement, calling me a “populist.” If speaking out for peace is populism, I proudly accept that label as much as necessary. My proposal remains in force. I am ready to participate in taking confidence-building measures at the interparliamentary level, working tirelessly for peace and stability in our region,” the MP wrote.
