The normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations creates broad prospects for many countries outside the region to take advantage of the South Caucasus's geostrategic potential.
Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Nurtlyu emphasized that the first official visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to Kazakhstan took place to establish important agreements between Baku and Yerevan.
"We attach great importance to this visit and consider it an important stage in further developing relations between Kazakhstan and Armenia. Your visit to Kazakhstan takes place during the period of reaching important agreements with Azerbaijan," the Kazakh foreign minister noted.
He also emphasized that Baku and Yerevan's balanced and responsible approach and strong political will testify to their intention to open a new chapter in their relations.
