"The formation of communication and transit routes in the region is an acceptable issue, but it must be under the sovereignty of the countries, and the territorial integrity of the countries and national laws must be respected," said Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, answering the question of what Iran would do if Azerbaijan tried to take the "Zangezur Corridor" by military means.
"If the region's countries want to use communication and transit routes, Iran is absolutely in favor, but within the framework of respecting the countries' national sovereignty and recognized international borders. Apart from this option, any other option is unacceptable," the official stressed.
