The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Brazil continued the discussion in an expanded format, with delegations from both countries participating. Ararat Mirzoyan and Mauro Vieira discussed in detail all issues and initiatives aimed at expanding the bilateral agenda, deepening political dialogue, and developing cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Brazil exchanged views on specific opportunities for expanding cooperation in the economy, trade, education, innovations, high technologies, and energy. Both sides emphasized their willingness to make additional joint efforts to promote investments and business ties. Future activities were outlined with the participation of relevant departments and agencies of the two countries.
The Ministers exchanged views on issues of the international agenda, referring to the issues of active cooperation already established on various platforms. In the context of regional topics, Minister Mirzoyan presented the RA vision of building peace in the South Caucasus, the efforts made for this purpose, including developing a draft peace treaty, and the agreement in the direction.
Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia is ready to sign an agreement with an agreed text, which can serve as a reasonable basis for stability and comprehensive peace in the region. Following the meeting, the ministers will make statements to the press.
