NA Speaker Alen Simonyan stated that he is familiar with the text of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and there is nothing dangerous in it for Armenia. “All the points are bilateral. If we say that there is a dangerous point, and if any point is interpreted as dangerous, it is equally dangerous for Azerbaijan,” he said.
When asked why the text is not being published, Simonyan noted that part of it is known: “We are dealing with a party that needs a reason everywhere to announce something and create problems in some way. When we understand the timing and logic of the publication, we will naturally publish it when the time comes.”
He emphasized: “Over the past few years, we have managed to become an agenda-setting party in this situation and a party consistent with the agenda, which was very difficult after our defeat, but we succeeded.”
