The RA Foreign Ministry has issued a statement, noting that the Peace Agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is ready for signing.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has conveyed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan through diplomatic channels that the Republic of Armenia accepts Azerbaijan’s proposals on the two uncoordinated articles of the draft “Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan” and has proposed to issue a joint statement on the Agreement of the text of the draft Peace Agreement and the completion of negotiations on the draft agreement.
Official Baku preferred to issue a unilateral statement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia confirms the Agreement of the draft Agreement “On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan” and the completion of negotiations on the draft agreement.
Thus, the Peace Agreement is ready for signing. The Republic of Armenia is prepared to begin consultations with the Republic of Azerbaijan on the dates and place of signing the Agreement.”
