Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation from Kaspar Veldkamp, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
The Prime Minister welcomed Kaspar Veldkamp's visit to Armenia and emphasized the dynamic nature of cooperation between the two countries. Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated the level of bilateral political dialogue, adding that steps must be taken to further expand ties in the economy and other areas. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the role of the Netherlands in deepening Armenia-European Union relations and effectively implementing the democratic reform agenda in our country.
Kaspar Veldkamp noted that close cooperation based on mutual trust has been established between the two countries' Foreign Ministries. According to him, the Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed today between Armenia and the Netherlands will elevate bilateral relations to a new level. At the same time, he added that the Netherlands will continue to contribute to the development of Armenia-EU cooperation, including in order to advance the reform agenda.
The interlocutors discussed Armenia’s and issues related to the peace process and regional stability between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
