MP Tadevos Avetisyan from the NA “Armenia” faction wondered whether the issue in the gambling sector is to combat corruption or to increase the tax burden.
Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that massive changes have occurred in this sector since 2018.
“I am very radical on this issue, but I have never wanted and do not want my radical stance to deprive me of balanced approaches,” Pashinyan said. He insisted that if the issue were to close the sector or serve the public interest, he would choose the public interest.
