"There is a risk of escalation, but there is no reason or occasion." NA Speaker
NA Speaker Alen Simonyan referred to the article published by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today, noting that the peace treaty is in the discussion phase: "We already have 15 agreed points, which I consider a great, very great achievement."
According to him, when the conversation about the peace treaty had just begun, only 5 internationally accepted points were being discussed. He noted the danger of escalation: "We must do everything to ensure that there is no such occasion or reason. Armenia has no territorial claims, is very strict in its commitments and agreements, and will consistently continue its work to resolve problematic issues."
Simonyan also emphasized, "There is a danger of escalation, but there is no occasion or reason for escalation."
According to the NA Speaker, events are developing quickly: "And there may be exciting developments in the coming days. There may be news and changes."
