The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has responded to the Armenian government's decision yesterday regarding Lydian-Armenia.
"Great news! The U.S. Embassy welcomes the agreement signed between Lydian and Armenia to resume the large Amulsar mine project. This project will bring millions of U.S. dollars to the economy, create jobs, and contribute to the prosperity of Armenia and the United States. Armenia is open to U.S. business, and the U.S. Embassy is proud to support this cause, working together towards a more prosperous future," the embassy's Facebook post reads.
The government decided to ensure Lydian Armenia CJSC's normal course of operations.
