Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan stated that the pictures of the trial of Armenian prisoners in Baku left a heavy impression.
“Throughout this period, the government has used all available tools to find a solution. The solution is for all prisoners to be released, that is, for the 23 confirmed prisoners to return to Armenia,” he said, adding that the issue is delicate. Work is being done to return all prisoners without exception.
He also recalled that in 2022, 23 prisoners were released, which resulted from the negotiation process.
