Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin had two meetings and two phone conversations

The government's 2024 program refers to Armenian-Russian relations.

It is noted that during 2024, the dialogue with Russia at the highest levels continued. "Two meetings and two telephone conversations took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. One meeting also took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation," the report says.

It is noted that Prime Minister Pashinyan participated in the expanded meeting of the heads of the BRICS member states in Kazan in the "OUTREACH"/"BRICS PLUS" format.

"Armenia and Russia have actively cooperated within the EAEU and the CIS framework. According to the results of 2024, the trade turnover between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation amounted to about 12.4 billion US dollars, increasing by 56.5% compared to 2023," the document states.
