Issues related to the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations were discussed
On February 25, Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, received a delegation led by Nils Ushakovs, Co-Chair of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee. Welcoming them to the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan highlighted the importance of such contacts, especially given the development of Armenia-EU relations.
In turn, the members of the European Parliament delegation thanked the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia for the warm welcome and stressed that they were here to support Armenia’s democratic aspirations.
In addition to the agenda topics related to Armenia-EU relations and the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, the interlocutors’ discussions also focused on issues related to the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
