Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan noted during the 4th meeting of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee that Armenia is grateful to the European Union for extending the mandate of the civilian mission, as it brings stability to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and reduces the likelihood of escalation.
“I would like to note that the security component of our partnership is thriving. Armenia expresses its readiness for the EU CSDP mission, and we are ready to sign the relevant agreement shortly. The European Union remains Armenia’s most important partner,” Hovhannisyan added.
