"Visa liberalization will promote human contacts." Prime Minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Nils Ushakovs, the Co-Chair of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee.

The Prime Minister highlighted the active Armenia-EU dialogue and the consistent development of relations and emphasized the importance of organizing mutual visits at various levels.

Nikol Pashinyan stressed that the agenda of democratic reforms in our country is a priority. In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of consistent support from the EU.

The Head of State stressed the importance of the practical and consistent implementation of the agreements reached at the RA-EU-US high-level meeting. At the same time, the Prime Minister assessed the recent meeting with the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, in Munich as effective.

We discussed issues related to further developing Armenia-EU relations and introducing EU standards in Armenia. Regarding the visa liberalization process, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that it will contribute to more people-to-people contacts and tourism development.

Reference was also made to the "Crossroads of Peace" project and its principles aimed at normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, unblocking regional communication routes, and addressing issues related to the border demarcation process.

The Prime Minister also presented the Real Armenia Strategy, as well as the balanced and liberal foreign policy of the RA Government.
