On February 21, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan telephoned Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budris. The interlocutors discussed a wide range of cooperation issues between the two countries.
To further deepen the established practical cooperation, the emphasis was on maximizing the opportunities for collaboration in various sectors in parallel with the high-level political dialogue.
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Lithuania discussed deepening the RA-EU partnership through continuous, active dialogue with EU member states. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of implementing cooperation and programs in areas of mutual interest, such as democratic reforms, infrastructure development, and resilience strengthening.
In the context of expanding cooperation in various formats, Ararat Mirzoyan and Kestutis Budris noted with satisfaction the active dynamics of developing Armenia's partnership with the Nordic and Baltic countries and the exchange of ideas on future programs.
International and regional developments were also discussed. The RA Foreign Minister emphasized Armenia's strong political will to establish stable peace in the South Caucasus.
