"The work on the new National Security Strategy has begun." Security Council Secretary

Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan explained why a committee to review the national security strategy was necessary without specifying in which direction the change is planned.
“The main discussions so far have been about the rules of procedure. The need for a new national security strategy arose due to the changes in Armenia’s security environment,” Grigoryan said, recalling the significant changes in Armenia since the previous 2020 security strategy.
Grigoryan announced that starting work on the new national security strategy is a given: “We will start working meetings soon. The entire process will be public.”
