According to Artur Hovhannisyan, Secretary of the NA KP faction, the draft law on launching the process of Armenia’s membership in the European Union speaks about Armenia’s democracy in form and content.
According to him, in the recent past, it was difficult to imagine that such a text could be discussed in Armenian reality.
Hovhannisyan denied the rumors that any choice was being imposed on citizens.
“This process is natural; it is a matter of the country’s civilizational and political choice, which the Prime Minister announced from the high rostrum of the European Parliament. And the process of Armenia’s membership in the European Union launched that day.”
The MP emphasized that the draft law confirms the Prime Minister’s message and builds policy by that logic.
