On February 11, a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia with representatives of the Consular Department and the Department of Europe, the European Union Division, and a delegation from the European Union.
During the meeting, the implementation of the RA-EU Visa Facilitation Agreement was discussed, and the consular functions performed by the RA MFA and the RA embassies in foreign countries were presented.
The European Union delegation, which includes representatives of the relevant EU directorates, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, and EU member states, will be in Armenia from February 10 to 14 within the framework of the RA-EU Visa Liberalization Dialogue.
The purpose of the visit is to conduct a general assessment of Armenia’s preparedness in document security, borders, migration management, and other related areas, which will contribute to developing an action plan for the RA-EU Visa Liberalization Dialogue.
