"The Azerbaijani side's stance is extremely worrying." Alen Simonyan

"I do not think that the negotiations have reached a deadlock; we continue to work on the issue of demarcation and demarcation actively," said NA Speaker Alen Simonyan at a briefing with journalists.

He said, "It is true that the Azerbaijani side has not responded to our proposal for the third month. The Azerbaijani side's stance is very worrying. We are talking about this with all international partners. And I think it would be good for Azerbaijan to continue participating in the peace process."

He did not elaborate on the content of the proposals. "But you all know that we have presented a package, the answer we are waiting for, and so far, we do not have that answer." According to him, this may be related to the aggravated situation between Azerbaijan and Russia. "Maybe that is why, I do not know, but the Armenian side is waiting for the answer."

According to Simonyan, the sovereignty and future of Armenia and Azerbaijan are in the hands of both countries. "Today, we have a historic chance to resolve this issue and leave a peaceful coexistence to our heirs and generations."
