The Prime Minister provided details from the peace treaty negotiations

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the demarcation process, noting that it became tangible in 2024. We have the first bilateral interstate document with Azerbaijan, which has gone through the procedures of the two countries and has been de jure approved," he said. According to the Prime Minister, the parties will shortly focus on demarcating the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

He also discussed the peace treaty negotiations. "Out of the 17 articles in the draft, 15 have been agreed upon, and we have proposed solutions for 2," the Prime Minister said. According to him, one of the articles that was not agreed upon concerns the issue of not deploying representatives of third countries along the border.

"We propose to apply it to deploying demarcated border sections," he said. According to the Prime Minister, there is also a problem with withdrawing lawsuits from international instances:

"This may be acceptable for us under certain circumstances. The idea is as follows: "We are not only withdrawing from international instances, but we are also refusing to engage in disputes because there may be a situation when we withdraw, and Azerbaijan does too; that is, we agree that we will not take this to international instances, but in the next stage Azerbaijan puts these issues on the table in bilateral relations, and there are escalations around it. In that case, we will have blocked our way to manage the risk of that escalation and use international platforms."
