"The problem arose from the moment when certain forces, certain people, tried to interpret the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, as a limitation of Armenia's sovereignty," said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in response to a question from Radar Armenia.
"The Russian authorities constantly state that the projects developed by the trilateral working group do not question Armenia's sovereignty regarding opening communications in the region. Can you confirm or deny this claim, and can you say what solution was found as a result of these works, or if a deadlock was created, what kind?" the Radar Armenia correspondent asked the Prime Minister.
Nikol Pashinyan responded, "We also asked where such a comment was written. There is none at all. And the problem arose from there if that is the problem. It is not a problem; we have said there is no such issue; it cannot be like that. But now the problem is elsewhere because that statement already has irreversible points; for example, the Russian peacekeeping contingent has long been absent from Nagorno-Karabakh."
