Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that Armenia supports the idea of unblocking transport infrastructure.
“We have made quite constructive proposals to Azerbaijan and expect a positive attitude from Azerbaijan,” Mirzoyan said. According to him, the unblocking of transport routes will bring significant economic benefits to the countries of the South Caucasus: Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
“The 21st century is a century of simplifications and facilitation of logistical transitions; everyone is trying to achieve simplifications with everyone. We also see certain simplified procedures in Azerbaijan that can be applied, and we and Azerbaijan can benefit from this.”
