The Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia reported that Georgia's Minister of Environment and Agriculture, David Songhulashvili, met with Ashot Smbatyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Georgia and Armenia and future opportunities, including the prospects for deepening trade and economic relations. The discussion touched upon the importance of cooperation and the exchange of experience in the fields of sustainable water resources management, winemaking, agrotourism, and aquaculture.
The Ambassador of Armenia congratulated David Songhulashvili on his appointment to the post of Minister and wished him success in his future activities.
According to Ashot Smbatyan, Georgia is a friendly country of Armenia, and, accordingly, there is a constant readiness for multilateral practical cooperation.
