Has the issue of RA-US strategic partnership been discussed with the Trump administration?
After signing the document on strategic partnership between Armenia and the USA, various figures in Armenia announced that the new US administration had approved the document.
Radar Armenia has turned to the Armenian Foreign Ministry for clarification on whether there have been contacts and discussions on this issue with the newly elected US President Donald Trump's administration and whether there is an agreement that this level of partnership and further work based on this document will continue during their tenure.
From the MFA of Armenia, referring to the thought expressed by Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during the 2024 closing press conference. ("We develop our relations with the United States, not with the current or outgoing administration or authorities" - Mirzoyan).
The Foreign Ministry also added that Armenia highly values its strategic partnership with the United States, based on shared values and interests.
The document on the strategic partnership between Armenia and the USA was signed on January 14 in Washington.
