On January 20, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, who left for Tehran on a visit to Ashkhanate, had a meeting with Kamal Kharazi, Advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran, Head of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations.
Referring to the agenda of bilateral relations, the interlocutors highly appreciated the existing cooperation between Armenia and Iran and highlighted the efforts aimed at continuously deepening ties.
The importance of Iran's principled position regarding the need to unconditionally respect the territorial integrity and inseparability of the borders of the Republic of Armenia was emphasized.
Vahan Kostanyan presented to Kamal Kharazi the details of the processes related to the agenda issues of Armenia's foreign policy and the latest regional developments, emphasizing that in the framework of Armenia's balanced foreign policy, the continuous development of Armenia's relations with its regional partners, particularly the Republic of Iran, is particularly important.
