Yeghishe Kirakosyan, the RA representative for international legal issues, referred to Armenia and Azerbaijan's legal disputes in international courts. When asked whether these disputes will hinder the peace process, Kirakosyan said, "In my opinion, no. The point of legal disputes is to establish peace somewhere. When states initiate legal disputes and resolve differences in a civilized manner, this also means preventing war."
When asked what proposal Yerevan made to Baku to exclude legal disputes in response to Azerbaijan's demand, Yeghishe Kirakosyan advised to apply to the Foreign Ministry, noting that the issue is within the domain of that department.
He did not answer whether he presented his position to the RA authorities. "Let's not comment on that."
