Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Magdalena Grono, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Georgia crisis.
The Prime Minister congratulated Mrs. Grono on assuming the post and expressed hope that she would contribute to further developing and strengthening Armenia-EU cooperation. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the RA Government came to a positive conclusion regarding the "EU accession process" presented by the civil initiative. About the launch" bill and reminded that in the autumn of 2023, in his speech in the European Parliament, he emphasized that the Republic of Armenia is ready for the European to be as close to the Union as the European Union considers possible.
Magdalena Grono thanked me for the reception and emphasized the importance of consistently expanding RA-EU cooperation, including the development of democratic institutions and the promotion of reforms in our country.
During the meeting, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the active steps of the RA Government to promote security and stability in the South Caucasus, and the "Crossroads of Peace" project were discussed.
