More than 160,000 Azerbaijanis received compensation from Armenia (VIDEO)

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan referred to the Azerbaijanis who left Armenia in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He noted that most of them left in a civilized way, and the exceptions proving the opposite are unique.

According to Mirzoyan, 100 families have sold their apartments, while such a thing is not done during deportation.

"100 families directly sold their apartments, and 12,000 families could exchange apartments with Armenians living in Azerbaijan. More than 160,000 people received compensation from the government when they left Armenia. Therefore, the rights are also exhausted here. We can draw a parallel with about 500 thousand people living in Azerbaijan. With the Armenians, remember their fate; remember the massacres of Baku, Sumgait, and other persecutions. And all this is a fact; it is documented."
