Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan responded to the statements of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, noting that Armenia pursues the unblocking of transport routes not at the request of any country but because it is interested in it.
"Armenia does not want and is not going to be a barrier. In the 21st century, all countries want relations, trade, and movement," he said, adding that Armenia wants to be a bridge, not a barrier.
"We want to be not a wedge, but a link, a bridge. This applies to countries that are geographically close to us, literally being a bridge, and to faraway countries.
