"Unfortunately, I can't say anything good." Mirzoyan

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in response to the question about the return of the Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh, noted that they talked about living in Nagorno-Karabakh when Armenians still lived there, "Return under what conditions?" As part of any self-determined autonomy, or directly as citizens of Azerbaijan, or citizens of Azerbaijan who have the right to learn Armenian at school? When a complete picture is formed, then I will be able to answer that question comprehensively."

According to Mirzoyan, the return of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians has become something like a foregone conclusion that representatives of various political forces repeat, "Where, under what conditions, can you say?" Just as citizens of Azerbaijan, there was that opportunity, citizens of Azerbaijan, who have the right to learn Armenian at school."

He reminded that the former leaders of Nagorno-Karabakh refused to negotiate directly with the Azerbaijani authorities in Sofia. "Now that all that has happened when there are no Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh, they are saying in Yerevan: the return of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians. Very well, we heard you. Unfortunately, I can't tell you anything good about that.''
